Our client is a leading subcontractor in the interior fit-out sector, delivering premium wall, ceiling, and cladding systems to Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders across Sydney since 2007. With over 100 completed projects across high-rise residential, commercial, education, aged care, and government sectors, they are known for their technical capability, quality craftsmanship, and long-term partnerships.

They are hiring for a junior-level position with a flexible scope that will be tailored to your strengths. Depending on your background and interests, you may focus more on Estimation or Contract Administration — or gain exposure to both.

This is a hands-on role where you will be mentored by senior team members and progressively take on responsibilities across cost estimation, procurement, contract support, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with tender submissions, quantity take-offs, and preliminary cost estimates for a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
• Support material procurement and supplier coordination.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and variations.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients and contractors.
• Contribute to cost tracking and progress claim management.
• Help prepare construction documentation and shop drawings.

Skills & Requirements:

• A background in construction, civil engineering or related studies.
• Strong interest in either estimation or contract/project administration.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and documentation.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication skills (English required; Mandarin is a plus).
• A valid driver’s licence (preferred).
• Short-term visa holders may be considered — sponsorship available after mutual trial period.
