We are seeking an experienced Head Chef or Chef Manager to join our long-established and respected Italian restaurant.

Piccolo Papà is a busy, authentic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Toowoomba, known for its laneway concept and genuine hospitality. For over 12 years, we have been serving traditional Neapolitan pizzas and classic Italian pastas, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and authenticity.

About the Role

• Full-time kitchen leadership position
• Overseeing and supporting day-to-day kitchen operations and service
• Strong focus on Italian cuisine, particularly pasta and sauces
• Pizza experience is a plus, not essential
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the kitchen team
• Assisting with rostering, stock control, and kitchen organisation
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards are maintained
• Contributing to a professional, organised service environment

• Strong experience in Italian cuisine is essential
• Previous Head Chef or Chef Manager experience preferred
• Confident leading service in a busy kitchen
