We’re seeking a Lead Veterinarian who is deeply passionate about animal welfare and possesses natural leadership abilities, ready to guide our dynamic team during this exciting change of management.
This is a unique dual-site opportunity across My Pet Hub Redlynch and My Pet Hub Balaclava, giving you variety in your day-to-day while working with two collaborative and well-supported clinic teams.
You’ll work alongside a seasoned Practice Manager and supportive nursing teams across both locations, all dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.

What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a varied caseload across both medicine and surgery across two clinics
Mentoring, training, and supporting the GP veterinary team
Undertaking line management responsibilities, including performance management and professional development
Supporting the training and development of nursing and support teams
Shaping and upholding best-practice standards in line with VetPartners advisory guidelines
Driving clinical vision while aligning clinical priorities with business objectives
Utilising advanced diagnostics, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment
Delivering preventative healthcare such as vaccinations, parasite control, and routine wellness checks
Educating and supporting pet owners while building strong, trusted client relationships
Working collaboratively with skilled nursing teams and experienced veterinary colleagues
Confidently managing emergency and critical cases as required
Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records to ensure continuity of care
About You
A qualified Veterinarian with registration (or eligibility for registration) with the QLD Veterinary Practitioners Board
Ideally 4+ years’ experience in small animal practice (flexible for the right candidate)
A strong communicator and team player who enjoys building lasting client relationships
