Machine Operator with PLASTIC EXTRUSION - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Mid to Late January Start

As a Machine operator at Plastic Recycling Hub, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the day-to-day requirements of managing a recycling plant.

We are looking for a person of many talents who can run an operation on their own and help the Factory Manager in growing our business.

•Our high end extruders are able to process a range of plastic materials including HDPE, PP, PVC, PE100 and LDPE. As an experienced operator we need you to know how to manage the day to day operations in producing plastic pellets, this includes:

Minimum 3-5 years of extrusion experience is required for this position.

Sponsorship available for qualified candidates without current Australian work rights.

• General maintenance of the machine.
• Understanding trouble shooting and basic repairs.
• Able to identify problems and deliver a solution.
• An eye for detail is really needed for this role.
• Experience in blending of plastics to create new products would be highly desirable. This would attract production BONUSES!
• Maintain a very clean and organised environment - This is a MUST!
• Have a deep understanding of WHS standards to make sure your environment is always SAFE!
• Be a good communicator that is willing to always educate his team members.
• Engage with suppliers and fitters to assist with repairs and maintenance.
• Use numerous types of hand tools including drills, hand saws and table saws etc.
• Expert level proficiency with hand tools is required for this role.
• Be proactive in keeping your work environment safe and clean.
• Machine operating.
• Willing to go in this journey of growth.
• Don't mind getting your hands dirty.
