The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Greater Brisbane to optimise production processes, support product development, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This role combines hands-on work with strategic engineering responsibilities to improve manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct precision production activities, including fitting, alignment, and adjustment of aluminium components.
Apply engineering principles to enhance component performance and manufacturing efficiency.
Operate and maintain specialised production equipment.
Support product and process research and development initiatives.
Optimise workflows and equipment layouts to improve productivity.
Maintain high product quality through testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement strategies.
Prepare technical reports detailing performance trends and recommendations.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair proactively.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality systems.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience improving manufacturing processes in industrial or advanced manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in CAD modelling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve production challenges.
Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, technologies, and production systems.
Experience managing production projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Understanding of workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location & Visa Eligibility
This role is based in Greater Brisbane. While Australian or New Zealand applicants are preferred, skilled international candidates may be eligible for SID Visa Sponsorship. Relocation support may also be offered.
