We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.
The Role This is an autonomous and hands-on management position suited for a professional who enjoys regional living and taking ownership of a business. You will be responsible for the overall guest experience, staff management, and ensuring the property maintains its excellent reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Oversee all day-to-day motel operations, including front desk, reservations, and guest check-in/check-out.
Staff Leadership: Manage staff rosters, provide training, and supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure high performance.
Guest Relations: Professionally handle guest enquiries, feedback, and any complaints to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Financial Administration: Monitor budgets, manage operational expenses, and provide basic financial reporting to the owners.
Quality Control: Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, room presentation, and property maintenance.
Compliance: Ensure the motel adheres to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and accommodation industry regulations.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Motel Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior supervisory role in the hotel/motel industry.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and basic administrative software.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
A genuine desire to live and work in a regional community like Bright.
