We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Motel Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

The Role

This is an autonomous and hands-on management position suited for a professional who enjoys regional living and taking ownership of a business. You will be responsible for the overall guest experience, staff management, and ensuring the property maintains its excellent reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee all day-to-day motel operations, including front desk, reservations, and guest check-in/check-out.
• Staff Leadership: Manage staff rosters, provide training, and supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure high performance.
• Guest Relations: Professionally handle guest enquiries, feedback, and any complaints to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Quality Control: Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, room presentation, and property maintenance.
• Compliance: Ensure the motel adheres to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and accommodation industry regulations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Motel Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior supervisory role in the hotel/motel industry. Fresher can also apply for this job.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and basic administrative software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• A genuine desire to live and work in a regional community of Victoria.
