About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mavin Pty Ltd as the Motel Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the motel located in Ringwood, Victoria. As the Motel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the motel runs smoothly and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage all aspects of the motel's daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations
2. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service are maintained throughout the motel
3. Monitor and report on the motel's financial performance, and implement strategies to improve profitability
4. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and maintain existing customer relationships
5. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage the motel's procurement needs
6. Ensure the motel complies with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
7. Overlook Housekeeping and outsourced laundry.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a motel or hotel setting
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests, staff, and stakeholders effectively
• Proven track record of implementing successful marketing and revenue-generating strategies
