About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled, qualified Head Motor Mechanic to manage the maintenance and repair of our busy rental fleet. This role is strictly for an experienced professional who can work independently and solve complex problems.

Our fleet consists primarily of Toyota vehicles; therefore, we need someone with deep technical knowledge of Toyota engines and drivetrains.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics: Confidently diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

Inspections: Conduct roadworthy inspections and issue Pink Slips.

Fleet Maintenance: Manage routine servicing, brakes, and suspension repairs to keep the fleet safe and on the road.

A/C Services: (Optional/Preferred) Perform air conditioning regas and repairs.

What We’re Looking For Qualified Mechanic: Must hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent. *(No apprentices, please).*

Licensing: Must have a current NSW Pink Slip (AIS) license.

Specialized Skill: Proven experience in swapping Toyota engines and gearboxes.

A/C ragas licence (optional): An refrigerant handling license is a major plus.

Problem Solver: You must be able to "think between the lines" to find efficient solutions for fleet downtime.

Eligibility: Current Status: Open to all Mechanic applicants with 2 years plus experience currently in Australia with valid work rights.
