Must have
Experience working with people with disability, including clients with cognitive/intellectual disability and/or psychosocial disability (mental health support needs)
Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability (or equivalent)
Up-to-date First Aid & CPR and Food Safety / Food Handling
Highly skilled in everyday support tasks including cleaning, personal hygiene, cooking, supervision
Full driver licence and a good driving record (resident transport is part of the role)
Ability to work sleepover shifts
Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and flexibility
A genuine commitment to delivering a safe, respectful, person-centred experience
You will be responsible for
Supporting a large number of live-in residents in a warm residential facility
Personal care support (hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility support as required)
Cooking and serving meals
Cleaning, tidying, and laundry
Medication support/supervision (as authorised and within scope/policy)
Supporting residents to follow their care plans and daily routines
Providing transport to appointments/outings and assisting with community access when required
Completing accurate shift notes, handovers, and incident documentation
Ethics, safeguarding and compliance (audit-ready)
