We invite outstanding leaders in nursing research and education to join our internationally recognised School of Nursing and Midwifery as a Professor (Level E) of Nursing.
This role is ideal for a distinguished academic with a sustained, high-impact research program aligned with Australia’s national research priorities (NHMRC, MRFF, ARC), and a demonstrated record of securing competitive funding, publishing influential research, and supervising HDR candidates to completion.
You will be a recognised authority in Nursing, promoting excellence across research, teaching, engagement, and leadership. You will have achieved international recognition through original, innovative, and distinguished contributions to the field of nursing, which is demonstrated by sustained and excelled performance.

This is a continuing, full-time position based at our vibrant, world-class campuses across Southeast Queensland, including Nathan (Brisbane South), Logan, and the Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated and extensive commitment to higher education and Nursing. In addition, the successful applicant will demonstrate:

Salary Range
The base salary for Professor (Level E) is $215,130 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is equal to $251,702 per annum.
