We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team at ‘Killean’ Residential Aged Care in Inverell, NSW.
While previous aged care experience is highly regarded, we also welcome nurses with strong clinical foundations from other healthcare settings. Most importantly, we value your professionalism, clinical judgement, and commitment to quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to care teams
Supervise Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees
Allocate and prioritise duties to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery
Champion clinical excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure care is delivered in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation
About You
Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (minimum 12 months)
Preferably at least 12 months’ experience in Residential Aged Care
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of aged care legislation
Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
Empathetic, respectful, and collaborative approach to care
Flexibility to work across a range of shifts (morning, afternoon, night)
Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle
