Registered Nurse

• Permanent full-time position
• 38 hours per week
• $76,515 – $93,267 per annum + shift penalties and superannuation

Carino Management Services Pty Ltd is currently looking for Registered Nurse for our facility in Russell Lea. The Registered Nurse will report to the Care Manager and Services Manager and will perform the following:

• Liaising with health practitioners, including GPs and allied health providers to ensure changes in resident care needs are reported and reviewed with prescribed changes to clinical care implemented and evaluated.
• Carrying out a comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of individuals.
• Develop plan of care with the primary aim of providing optimal quality of life for the individual in consultation with the Resident or Representative
• Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards.
•  Timely and accurate documentation within the clinical software programs
• Liaising with other members of the health team, to identify resident care needs, plan interventions and review outcomes of care.
• Maintaining accurate and legally appropriate documentation of nursing services.
• Overseeing care staff and delegation of care

Successful applicants must have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the ageing process, particularly to age-related health issues.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads according to resident’s needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined work team.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Intermediate computer skills.

A previous working experience in the aged care setting is desirable.
