About the Role and Tasks:
We are seeking Registered nurses to join Private Hospitals and Aged Care Organizations in different locations in Australia.
· You will manage the provision of the daily care needs for residents while supporting the team around you.
· You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments,
· Engage in nursing practices that enhance the dignity and integrity of all residents, fostering independence
· Overall management of medications.
· You will liaise with doctors, Allied Health professionals, and family members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual resident care.
· You will supervise and coordinate with care workers, enrolled nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
· Providing information about residents to their family members, updating their family members on their treatment and care.
· Overall responsibility for the nursing care of the resident.
· You will be responsible for Medications, Providing interventions, and treatments to residents.
To be successful in the role the suitable applicant must be/have:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
· Qualified Registered Nurse with AHPRA
· One year or more Aged Care Experience, Overseas experience also accepted.
· Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate and prioritise workload
· Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
· Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
· Experience providing clinical patient centred Care Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
· Understanding of the Aged Care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration Knowledge and experience with ACFI
· Excellent computer and documentation skills
· Empathy and an emphasis on treating others with dignity and respect
