As a Leading Hand Painter, you will be responsible for running a painting team to carry out high-quality work. Suitable applicants will be very reliable, self-motivated, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks. PV Projects offers flexible working conditions and a supportive work environment. Duties:
Supervise and coordinate painting activities on residential and commercial construction projects.
Lead a team of painters, laborers, and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute painting tasks accurately.
Coordinate with project managers to schedule work, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines.
Provide hands-on painting expertise, including surface preparation, application of paints and finishes, and wallpapering as needed.
Train and mentor junior painters and apprentices, fostering their skill development and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Oversee the procurement of materials and tools required for painting work, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify hazards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to resolve issues and ensure project success.
