Avalon Restaurant is seeking an experienced and professional Floor Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is suited to a hospitality leader who enjoys working on the floor, leading by example, and delivering consistently high service standards in a quality dining environment.

Position details

• Full-time role
• Tuesday to Saturday roster

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house service operations
• Lead, train, and support the floor team
• Ensure a high standard of guest experience and service consistency
• Work closely with kitchen and management during service
• Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and service flow

About you

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role as a supervisor or floor manager in a quality restaurant
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Confident, organised, and calm during service
• Wine knowledge not essential, but appreciated
• Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
