Restaurant Manager (Full-time)

The Commodore is located in Mount Gambier, SA  on the state’s Limestone Coast and is the midpoint between Adelaide and Melbourne. Our passion is exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable moments for our guests.

We offer outstanding, welcoming accommodation to both corporate and leisure markets and when it comes to special celebrations, our guests expect to indulge in the best regional and South Australian produce and seasonal specialties from our consciously curated breakfast and dinner menu’s in our award winning restaurant.

Over more than 37 years, our family business has grown to include Delgattie Estate – our luxury boutique accommodation, Colhurst House, noky [bar & restaurant], along with Mantra Mount Gambier. We are always looking for exceptional people to join our growing business, particularly professionals to lead our teams.

We are currently seeking an experience Restaurant Manager to join to lead our front of house team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Required experience and skills 

• An outstanding work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

• A drive to consistently exceed guest expectations and to build rapport with our guests and community
• A passion for the industry with previous knowledge and experience working in delivering food and beverage service
• Experience in leadership, with proven experience in a similar role
• Rostering to budget including P&L control and financial targets
• The ability to effectively work in, and motivate a team - along with providing quality training and on-going support to the team
• Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
