About the Role

Biro Strategy is recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional manufacturer operating across New South Wales. We are seeking reliable, professional Security Officers to join a close-knit site team and play a key role in protecting people, assets, and operations.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in regional NSW with genuine long-term stability for the right candidates.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring site access and managing entry/exit of personnel and vehicles
• Conducting patrols and security checks across the facility
• Responding to incidents, emergencies, and breaches of site security
• Maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports
• Liaising with management and emergency services as required
• Upholding workplace health and safety standards at all times

What You Need

To be eligible for this role you must meet the requirements set by the NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED):

• Be 18 years of age or over
• Be a fit and proper person to hold a security licence
• Hold — or be eligible to obtain — a NSW Class 1A Security Operative Licence (CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations)
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• Have no disqualifying criminal history as prescribed under the Security Industry Regulation 2016 (including offences relating to assault, firearms, drugs, fraud, robbery, stalking, or terrorism)
• Be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold an eligible work visa (or be eligible)

Note: the Class 1A licence must be held prior to commencing work on site.
