What Your Day Could Look Like

Every day at WSP brings new challenges and opportunities. You could be:

• Developing conceptual to detailed designs for water dams, retarding basins, and service basins.
• Conducting inspections, investigations, and condition assessments of existing dams, ensuring the highest safety and performance standards.
• Leading multidisciplinary dam safety reviews and overseeing the integration of innovative solutions.
• Managing client relationships and delivering multiple high-profile projects.
• Providing expert oversight for contract administration and project superintendence.
• Designing and maintaining water dams, including new constructions, safety reviews, and upgrades.
• Developing containment and evaporation ponds for water, leachate, and brine.
• Implementing water and wastewater management systems.
• Planning and executing site closures, redevelopments, and remediation projects.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking dynamic and driven professionals who are passionate about dam engineering and ready to take their careers to the next level. While we value diverse backgrounds and encourage all to apply, here are some of the skills and experiences we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in dam engineering and design.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ/CPEng accreditation (or a commitment to achieve it).
• Expertise in preparing design reports, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with clients and collaborate across disciplines.
• A proactive mindset, eager to embrace challenges and drive innovation.
