What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our elderly residents.
• Assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Supervising and mentoring junior nursing staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

What we're looking for

• Registered nurses with at least five years of experience in elder care and a current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Proficiency in Infection Prevention Control and Clinical Education Experience.
• Excellent clinical abilities and knowledge of geriatric nursing care.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work well with residents, families, and the larger care team
• In-depth understanding of aged care standards, SIRS, incident management, and risk assessment.

• Experience in clinical care coordination, risk management, and quality improvement in a community care setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and NQI program requirements.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide and oversee less experienced employees.
• Dedication to delivering person-centered care and cultivating a supportive, caring atmosphere.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and other pertinent applications.
