About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Site Manager to join our construction team in commercial projects including Class 2 buildings. You will manage day-to-day site activities, lead site supervisors and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations to achieve program, budget, and quality targets.
• Lead subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with project plans.
• Enforce site safety, ensuring all workers comply with WHS regulations and company policies.
• Lead and coordinate excavation activities on site, ensuring proper use of earthmoving equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Establish and control project documentation systems and reporting structures.
• Organise and direct the weekly activities of site supervisors, labourers, and subcontractors to meet project quality and programme.
• Implement, track and review construction programme with professional project management software.
• Manage project risk, quality assurance, and defect prevention.

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant qualification (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or related field) preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience managing construction sites.
• English and fluent Mandarin Chinese required (essential) to coordinate with overseas suppliers and subcontractors.
• Exceptional communicator and negotiator.
• Strong project and people management skills
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have own car.
• Availability across Monday - Saturday
