We are seeking experienced Skilled Meat Workers to join established beef and lamb processing facilities across regional Australia. These roles suit workers with strong knife skills and proven experience in commercial meat processing. We welcome applications from candidates eligible for DAMA concessions, including those aged 45+ or with IELTS 5.0 overall.
About the Role
You will perform skilled meat processing tasks in a high-throughput environment, including:
Boning and slicing (beef/lamb)
Slaughter floor operations
Knifehand trimming and cutting
Butchery and portioning tasks
Adhering to food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Delivering consistent quality and meeting daily production targets
About You
To be successful, you must have:
Previous experience in a meat processing plant (beef or lamb)
Competent knife skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of WHS and food safety requirements
Physically fit and able to work in chilled environments
Reliable transport to and from work
Ability to work rotating shifts, including early starts
