About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in daily operations, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure the consistent delivery of quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and delivering menus.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, and food safety standards.
Monitor stock control, ordering, and inventory.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.
Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef or similar senior role.
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or IV).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
