The Role

We’re looking for a full‑time chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team — someone who can hold their own on the pans, stay calm under pressure, and work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with our head chef to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.

This is a hands-on role in a compact kitchen where speed, communication, and teamwork matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cooking pasta dishes to a high standard, quickly and consistently
• Running or supporting the pans section during service
• Assisting the head chef with daily operations and service flow
• Contributing to prep, organisation, and kitchen efficiency
• Maintaining a clean, safe, well-organised workspace
• Helping with menu development and specials
• Upholding food safety and hygiene standards
• Working collaboratively in a high-energy, team-focused environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years commercial kitchen experience
• Experience on the pans section in a fast-paced kitchen (highly preferred)
• Strong pasta knowledge or a genuine passion for Italian cuisine
• Ability to stay calm, fast, and focused under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Candidates with Australian work rights and skilled visa holders seeking sponsorship are both encouraged to apply
