In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and deliver individualised learning programs that meet the diverse needs of students. You’ll make a genuine difference by empowering young people to achieve their personal, social, and academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional learning needs.
• Support classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum and implement inclusive teaching practices.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment focused on wellbeing and engagement.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and allied professionals to provide holistic student support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to school-wide inclusion initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification with a focus or experience in Special Education.
• Current (or eligibility for) registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education principles and diverse learner support.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
