About us
We are a multidisciplinary team including speech pathology, occupational therapy and early childhood practitioners. We enjoy problem-solving together, sharing our challenges and expertise, developing our skills and supporting each other.
We have been an established paediatric clinic with a solid reputation, for many years. We are now expanding into adult speech pathology and are looking for a speech pathologist who is keen to work a mixed caseload, preferably with adult experience.
For less experienced clinicians we have a senior speech pathologist who has vast experience in adult speech pathology, who is providing supervision in this area.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Providing best-practice assessment and speech pathology services to adults and children in our modern clinic.
Writing assessment and progress reports.
Liaising with families and other professionals.
Maintaining and expanding your knowledge base.
Sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team.
Providing a mobile service to surrounding areas on some days.
About You
You have an interest in working in private practice and are committed to directly supporting clients and their families.
You have a committment to learning and applying evidence-based therapies to your practice.
You are keen to engage in professional support team meetings
You are empathetic and will work with our families within a non-judgmental and supportive framework.
You may be a new graduate or you may have years of experience - all are encouraged to apply.
You may be an Australian citizen, or international candidate applying under a VISA 482 or 494.
Requirements
Bachelor of Speech Pathology or higher
Blue Card for Working with Children must be held before commencing work
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia must be obtained before starting employment
Eligibility to Obtain a Medicare Provider Number
Australian Driver's License to be held prior to commencing work
Professional Indemnity Insurance must be held

This role is full-time, however hours are spread over a 9 day fortnight, giving you one day off each fortnight for yourself.
