Position Profile
As part of the multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with Senior Nurses and the Regional Nurse Educator; the Staff development nurse plans, implements and evaluates education and training relevant to the clinical practice of the nursing cohort at ward or unit level. The Staff Development Nurse is responsible for the orientation and development and support of all nursing staff (including assistants in nursing), and in particular newly qualified and junior nurses they provide support and clinical facilitation for undergraduate and postgraduate nurses in line with education institution agreements.
