We are seeking a skilled, experienced Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our Preston workshop. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position, offering a strong work-life balance while maintaining steady, long-term employment.

This role suits an experienced tradesperson who values quality work, consistency, and stable hours.

Key Responsibilities 

• Fabrication of precision steel pipe handrails
• Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings
• MIG welding to a high standard (TIG stainless experience highly regarded)
• Accurate measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembly of steel components
• Grinding, finishing, and preparing work to required quality standards
• Ensuring compliance with specifications
• Workshop-based fabrication

About You 

• Proven experience as a qualified or experienced steel fabricator / welder
• Strong background in pipe fabrication, handrails, or banister rail steelwork
• Confident reading technical drawings and working independently
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong MIG welding capability (TIG stainless advantageous)
• Reliable, safety-focused, and consistent in output
• Able to work autonomously in a workshop environment
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport
