Pine4pple2.0 Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Stonemason to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our construction projects and delivering high-quality stone masonry work. As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing various types of stone, mainly for the installation of stone benchtops, splash backs, and others.

What you'll be doing
1. Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine the required stone work
2. Measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials to precise specification
3. Installing stone elements such as benchtops, splash backs fireplaces, barbeques
4. Ensuring the quality and safety of all stone masonry work
5. Collaborating with construction teams to coordinate the stone masonry process
6. Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standardWhat we're looking for
1. Formal training or qualification in stonemasonry, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
2. A trade certificate in stonemasonry is required
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
4. Skilled in the use of specialised tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and installing stone
5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
6. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team
8. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
9. Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates
