2–3 years’ experience in metal fabrication or welding
Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficient in MIG and MMA welding processes
Skilled in using metalwork machinery such as rollers, flame cutters, and calipers
Experience working with mild steel in thicknesses from 3mm to 10mm
Ability to work autonomously and maintain high-quality workmanship under time constraints
Desirable Extras
Forklift ticket
Overhead crane ticket
Physically fit with a strong eye for detail
Your Role
Fabricate and weld structural steel frames and components to exact specifications
Follow drawings and job sheets to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
Work as part of a tight-knit team in a high-output fabrication environment
Perform structural welds after fabrication/tack welding is complete
Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient workshop
