About the opportunity
This is a workshop-based role fabricating thermoplastic sheet products for tanks, liners and related assemblies, with occasional local site work. You will work from drawings and job specs to prepare cutting lists, complete fabrication at welding stations, perform QA to EN standards, and maintain documentation within ERP workflows.
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality thermoplastic fabrication to ISO/DVS standards
Execute precise butt and extrusion welds with full QA ownership
Lead and mentor junior fabricators to lift capability and safety
Drive workflow efficiency, documentation and traceability
Support compliant site installation work when required
About you
You are an experienced thermoplastics professional who owns quality outcomes and is ready to mentor others while improving processes and throughput.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Substantial workshop-based experience with PE, PP and PVC
Mastery of butt and extrusion welding
Ability to read drawings and prepare cutting lists
Familiarity with destructive/non-destructive test criteria and traceability
Experience mentoring juniors and improving workflow
