The Clinic
This privately-owned small animal clinic in Rowville is part of a growing independent network and offers a supportive, collaborative environment where pets and their owners come first. The clinic is easy to access by public transport and offers ample parking.
Operates Monday to Saturday, 9am5pm (rotating Saturdays)Sole-charge clinic with room to develop the caseloadExperienced Business Manager and fully staffed nursing teamSpacious reception and waiting areaTwo consult rooms and a sterile operating theatreDigital X-ray, dental X-ray, and in-house pathologyRegular visits from medical and surgical specialistsClose collaboration with nearby hospitals for referrals and overnight careThe clinic sees a broad range of patients, including dogs, cats, and exotics, providing a diverse and rewarding caseload.
The Role
We're looking for a caring and collaborative Associate Veterinarian who thrives in a team environment, enjoys a mix of consulting and surgery, and is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing medical cases , consults, follow-ups, and ongoing carePerforming surgeries, routine and non-routine according to experienceBuilding strong client relationships through clear communication and trustSupporting and contributing to a positive clinic cultureParticipating in clinic growth initiatives and helping improve operationsPursuing professional development to maintain and grow clinical skills
About You
Veterinary degree 5+ years' experience in small animal practiceConfidence in sole-charge situationsCollaborative, approachable, and committed to fostering a positive team environmentPassionate about high-quality veterinary care
