The Clinic
This family-owned small animal clinic in Kawana is part of an independent network and The clinic is easy to access and provides ample parking for staff and clients.
Operates Monday to Saturday, 9am5pm (rotating Saturdays)Busy clinic with a team of three vets, including a casual vetLed by an experienced Senior Nurse and Business ManagerSpacious reception and waiting areaTwo consult rooms and a sterile operating theatreDigital X-ray, dental X-ray, and in-house pathologyRegular visits from medical and surgical specialistsClose collaboration with nearby hospitals for referrals and overnight careThe clinic is in an exciting rebuilding and growth phase, offering the incoming Associate Vet a real opportunity to make the role their own while working within an established, fully functioning structure.
The Role
We are looking for a caring and collaborative Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a mix of consulting and surgery, thrives in a supportive team, and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing medical cases, from consults to follow-ups, ensuring compassionate, high-quality carePerforming surgeries, routine and non-routine according to your experienceBuilding strong client relationships, delivering trust, clear communication, and excellent experiencesGrowing clinical expertise, embracing professional development and maintaining skillsSupporting the team, sharing knowledge, fostering a positive culture, and contributing to clinic successDriving clinic growth, supporting improvements and assisting with operational goals
About You
Veterinary degree with current VIC registration3+ years' experience in small animal practiceConfidence in sole-charge situationsCollaborative, approachable, and committed to fostering a positive team culturePassionate about delivering excellent veterinary care
