Wara Sushi is a sushi train restaurant that started in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 2014.
Our mission is to combine fresh ingredients and creative recipes to bring new experiences to our customers. We currently have 21 outlets across Australia, with a large team of employees who work together to grow Wara Sushi.

***Hiring process for full-time and part-time positions: Up to 1-3 months of probation, followed by performance evaluation.

Salary:
· Salary range: $65k-$80k
Note: Superannuation of 12% is paid separately.
Casual Pay Rates:
Introductory Level (First 3 months):
Weekdays: $30.35/hr
Weekends: $36.42/hr
Public Holidays: $60.7/hr
Level 1(Automatic increase after 3 months of employment):
Weekdays: $31.19/hr
Weekends: $37.43/hr
Public Holidays: $62.38/hr

Experience:
Japanese cuisine experience is not required, but Australian qualifications are preferred.
Minimum of 1+ years commercial kitchen experience is required. The required 1+ years commercial kitchen experience must include Asian cuisine experience.

Prepare and cook all types of food
Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations
Manage kitchen sections
Monitor food quality throughout all service stages
Discuss food-related issues with management, kitchen, and floor staff
Train staff, Manage deliveries
Accurately manage food inventory
Order ingredients and supplies
• Cook
Prepare ingredients, Cook food according to company standards
Maintain kitchen hygiene, Manage inventory and supplies
Collaborate with the team

Manage staff schedules and assignments
Handle customer complaints and questions
Keep the restaurant clean and hygienic
Make sure orders and service run smoothly
Monitor and restock inventory
Check sales and suggest improvements
