Salary: $40–$45 per Hour + Superannuation (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Workshop & Mobile Service Technician to join our Melbourne team.

This hands-on role includes both workshop-based servicing and on-site mobile support. While not all experience is essential, candidates with exposure to the below areas will be highly regarded.

Part-time arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates.
Afternoon shift available: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
A fully equipped work ute with tools, petrol, and mobile phone will be provided.

Skills & Experience – Highly Regarded (Not Essential)

Experience or exposure in the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
• Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshooting hydraulic systems, including hoses and fittings
• Conducting electrical diagnostics and minor electrical repairs
• Welding and fabrication work (MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Providing on-site breakdown response and field service support
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment

Core Requirements

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Plant Mechanics, Light Vehicle Technology, or similar
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
