The successful applicants will be excellent communicators with a sound understanding/knowledge of ACFI, Aged Care Standards and Quality outcomes.

comprehensive 4-day orientation program and a further 6 professional development days
Supernumerary time at the commencement of each rotation and regular Graduate debrief sessions
Develop self-confidence, critical thinking, decision-making, clinical skills, and clinical competence as part of the multifaceted role of the Registered Nurse
Facilitate practical and theoretical learning opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the Care Community Manager to facilitate and foster best practice standards in nursing care to residents and their families and carers.
Actively participate in the Graduate Nurse Program, including completion of all requirements outlined in Graduate Orientation.
Be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes
Practices independently and interdependently assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and the delegation of care to other healthcare workers as required
Provide high-quality, comprehensive, and evidence-based patient-centred care whilst acting as a resource and role model to other staff
Skills & Experience
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to staff, patients/residents their families, and carers.
Maintains relationships with the health care team by communicating information, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving.
Participates and engages in the annual performance review and professional development plan in accordance with the Grampians Health Staff Development Program
