Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, plant, and turf equipment.
Support Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products and conduct machine optimization for clients.
Mentor and train Apprentice Service Technicians.
Conduct diagnostics and repair work both in-shop and out in the field.
Maintain equipment, inventory, specialized tools, and safety standards.
Complete detailed service reports, job cards, and repair documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Location: Must currently reside in Australia with valid Australian work rights (Onshore candidates only).
Experience: 3–5+ years post-qualification experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Ag Technician, or Plant Mechanic.
Qualifications: Trade Certificate / Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Automotive (Heavy Vehicle), or equivalent.
Brand Experience: Previous hands-on experience with major brands like John Deere, New Holland, Case IH, Massey Ferguson, Kubota, Claas, Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, Mahindra, or Iseki is highly regarded.
Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities in advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Certifications: Valid Australian Driver’s License (Forklift license and CDL/HR preferred).
Master-Level Service Technician certification is advantageous.
