Tyrefitter – Agricultural & Road Train Focus/Mechanical Assistant

Lake Grace Tyrepower is looking for an experienced and reliable Tyrefitter / Mechanical Assistant to join our team in Lake Grace, WA.

We are specifically seeking someone with experience in:

Agricultural tyre fitting and on-site tyre service work

Jacking, stripping, fitting, and repairing agricultural and truck tyres

Road train and truck tyre fitting

Site jobs and breakdown work

Mechanical experience is not necessary but it will be beneficial, including assisting with servicing, repairs, workshop duties, and general maintenance.

Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate through DAMA or a 482 visa pathway, depending on qualifications, experience, and current immigration requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position involving a mix of tyre fitting, on-site service work, workshop duties, and light mechanical assistance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Fitting, repairing, stripping, and replacing tyres on:

Agricultural machinery

Trucks and road trains

Passenger and 4WD vehicles

Carrying out on-site tyre fitting and breakdown work

Jacking vehicles and machinery safely

Stripping and fitting agricultural and truck tyres

Assisting with light mechanical repairs and servicing

Carrying out workshop general duties and maintenance

Providing professional customer service and support

Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork

Working both independently and as part of a team

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in tyre fitting, especially agricultural and truck tyres

Experience with jacking, stripping, and fitting large tyres

Mechanical experience is highly regarded

Ability to work in a fast-paced regional workshop environment

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work independently and in a team

Current driver’s licence
