We are a busy bar, bistro and tourist park located in a beautiful coastal regional area of Western Australia. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Full-time Chef to join our team.
About the Role
You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen preparing a mix of modern Australian and bistro-style dishes, supporting daily kitchen operations and maintaining high food quality standards.
Requirements
Must be currently based in Australia
Available for a paid trial (approx. 2–4 weeks)
Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience
Experience in Western cuisine (bistro / pub / modern Australian preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Strong work ethic and reliability
Asian cuisine experience is a bonus, but not essential
Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes
Maintain food quality and consistency
Assist with menu planning and daily operations
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Work collaboratively with team members
