We are recruiting for a well-established transport and mining support business with opportunities available in both Karratha and Tom Price. These are residential positions offering structured rosters, varied work, and long-term career opportunities.

• 2:1 roster with accommodation provided - FIFO Perth
• Work across a diverse fleet in a mining and transport environment

The role

• Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs across a varied fleet
• Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components
• Air conditioning diagnostics, servicing and fault finding across HVAC systems, compressors, condensers and climate control systems
• Working on buses, coaches, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes and small plant
• Diagnosing faults with wiring, ECUs, lighting systems, alternators, starters and electrical accessories
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown response
• Working within a regional / mining environment
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards

Fleet & equipment exposure
The team currently work across a wide range of vehicles and equipment including lawn mowers, whipper snippers, golf carts, light vehicles (utes and cars), buses, prime movers, cranes and other mobile equipment.

• Cummins engines
• Allison transmissions
• Volvo
• Mercedes-Benz
• BCI
• Yutong

This role offers excellent variety and is ideal for Auto Electricians with air conditioning experience looking to expand their experience across multiple vehicle types and equipment.

About you

• Trade qualified Auto Electrician
• Air conditioning experience and relevant ARCtick licence highly regarded
• Experience working on buses, coaches, heavy vehicles or mobile plant
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Comfortable working across a varied fleet
• Able to work in a regional or remote environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Committed to long-term employment
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Additional requirements

• Current Driver’s Licence (HR is highly regarded)
• Relevant trade qualification (essential)
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
