Looking for a long-term Auto Electrician opportunity in Western Australia with visa sponsorship and a structured 2:1 roster?

We are recruiting for a well-established transport and mining support business with opportunities in Karratha and Tom Price. Choose from residential or Perth FIFO options, with company-provided shared accommodation. Interstate FIFO may also be considered for the right candidate. The role

• Electrical diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs across a varied fleet
• Installation, maintenance and repair of vehicle electrical systems and components
• Air-conditioning diagnostics, servicing and fault-finding across HVAC systems, compressors, condensers and climate-control systems
• Diagnosing faults involving wiring, ECUs, lighting systems, alternators, starters and electrical accessories
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown response
• Working across buses, coaches, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes, small plant and other mobile equipment
• Working within regional and mining environments
• Maintaining high safety and compliance standards

Fleet and equipment exposure
The team works across a broad range of vehicles and equipment, including:

• Buses and coaches
• Prime movers
• Light vehicles, including utes and cars
• Cranes and other mobile equipment
• Golf carts
• Lawn mowers, whipper snippers and small plant

The fleet includes:

• Volvo
• Mercedes-Benz
• BCI
• Yutong
• Cummins engines
• Allison transmissions

This role offers excellent variety and would suit an Auto Electrician with air-conditioning experience who enjoys working across multiple vehicle types and equipment.

About you

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
• Air-conditioning experience and a relevant ARCtick licence highly regarded
• Experience working on buses, coaches, heavy vehicles or mobile plant
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Comfortable working across a varied fleet
• Able to work effectively in a regional or remote environment
• Reliable, safety-focused and committed to long-term employment
• Current driver’s licence; an HR licence is highly regarded
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
