The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for a trade-qualified Automotive Mechanic (LV, HV or Plant) who wants hands-on, exciting, diverse mechanical work on unique airport equipment. If you currently hold a Working Holiday Visa (417/462) and are already in Australia - we want to meet you!

A snapshot of what you will be doing here:
Utilise your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
Report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.
Conduct preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
Promote a safety-first approach.
Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
Utilise the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.
Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
Experience working within procedural guidelines.
Good communication skills and proactiveness.
A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.,
Fluent in English; additional languages are always a plus
