About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and reliable, trade-qualified Automotive Painter to join our growing team. You must hold a trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing Technology.

Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate — however, applicants must currently be onshore in Australia to be considered. Offshore applications will not be accepted.

As our vehicle painter, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a quality finish and an efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing vehicle surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and filling to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish
• Surface preparation including priming, buffing, and denibbing as per job sheet
• Applying primer coats and base/clear coat finishes using spray equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Inspecting finished work for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications
• Working productively and efficiently with limited supervision
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, including proper disposal of waste materials
• Following all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment

Is This You?

We're looking for someone who:

• Is trade qualified with relevant, proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a spray painter within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of all aspects of surface preparation and spray painting methods
• Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality finish
• Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, with good time management skills
• Handles all vehicles with due care and attention
• Is currently onshore in Australia (essential), with either full Australian work rights or eligibility for visa sponsorship
• Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
