About the Role: Commis Baker
We are seeking a dedicated and hygiene-focused Commis Baker to join our bakery production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts according to standardized recipes and quality standards.

You will handle daily mise-en-place, measure and mix ingredients, operate industrial bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, proofers), and monitor baking times and temperatures. You will also assist with cake decoration, stock control, and ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards. This is a full-time, hands-on role requiring teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for end-to-end production - from dough preparation, fermentation, shaping to final baking and decoration for customized orders. Must maintain HACCP & WHS standards, manage inventory, and collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency and quality in high-volume operations.
