Bakers Delight Tamworth is seeking a motivated and experienced Qualified Baker to join our friendly and hardworking bakery team. We are committed to producing fresh, high-quality bread and bakery products every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, rolls, buns and specialty bakery products

• Mix, divide, mould, shape, prove and bake dough in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and production standards

• Monitor dough fermentation, proofing times, oven temperatures and product quality

• Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, dough dividers, moulders, provers and ovens

• Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and freshness

• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements

• Complete daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas

• Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation, ordering and waste control

• Work effectively with other bakery team members to meet daily production requirements

• Assist with training and supporting junior bakery staff when required

Requirements * Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience

• Previous experience working as a Baker in a commercial or retail bakery

• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking techniques

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment

• Reliable, punctual and physically capable of performing bakery duties
