XCircle is rapidly expanding its Wangara manufacturing facility to meet growing demand for modular critical power infrastructure and AI data centre solutions. We are seeking multiple experienced Press Brake Operators / Benders to join our fabrication team on a full-time ongoing basis.

The Role As a skilled Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating press brake machines to produce high-quality, precision sheet metal components for our power transfer units and enclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CNC/hydraulic press brake machines to bend, fold and form sheet metal to engineering drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, production orders and specifications
• Select appropriate tooling and perform machine setups for each job
• Input and adjust programs using the press brake controller
• Monitor operations and conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on press brake equipment
• Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating and programming press brake machines in a sheet metal or fabrication environment (CNC experience highly regarded)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Competent in machine setup, tooling selection and controller programming
• Good mathematical and measurement skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in metal fabrication is advantageous
