Spectrum Surface Treatment is a leading quality and safety focused industrial blasting and painting business, servicing Western Australia's Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Commercial sectors. Due to sustained growth, we are seeking experienced workshop Blasters & Painters with attention to detail to join our team!

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ Years of industrial blasting and painting experience in a workshop environment
• Understanding and familiarity with industrial paints eg. Zinc Rich Primers, High Build Epoxies, Polyurethanes
• Competently use airless and conventional spray equipment
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
• Ability to apply coatings to specified dry film thicknesses through use of wet film gauges.
• Ability to adjust application technique based on varying conditions
• Familiarity with and understanding of full coating processes including cleanliness of substrates, stripe coating and the relevant QA/QC requirements

• Understanding and familiarity with grit blasting to Sa 3 & Sa 2.5
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment & blast room
• Ability to load and unload blasting trolleys

Desirable Criteria

• Forklift Ticket
• Operate a gantry or overhead crane
