About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Boilermaker who’s also happy to roll up their sleeves and take on a variety of tasks in a small, close-knit team at our workshop out of Cooma in rural NSW. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—ideal for someone who enjoys both fabrication work and helping out wherever needed. Key duties include welding and fabrication, equipment maintenance, and general workshop support. The right candidate will be adaptable, safety-focused, and willing to pitch in across different areas to keep operations running smoothly.

Role Responsibilities

• Undertake tasks and duties as directed
• Attend and complete relevant on the job training as required
• Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment
• Ability to complete fabrication and reclamation type work as per trade requirements
• Able to utilise various welding methods and operate other associated equipment
• Accurately maintain QA requirements
• Demonstrate a personal responsibility in ensuring safety, quality and environmental practices and standards are effectively maintained at all times
• Good with hand tools
• Mechanically minded
• Ability to work on your own or in a team
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Key Capabilities

• Structural steel

Qualifications & Experience:

• Forklift license
• White card
• Trade certificate
