About Us

We're Travellers Autobarn, and we run a fleet of rental campervans across Australia, NZ, and the USA. We build them, rent them, and sometimes sell them — all with a mission to help travellers hit the road and explore.

We're bringing our Manufacturing in-house and looking for a capable, hands-on Tradie/Technician to help us build our iconic Toyota HiAce campervans. If you enjoy variety, a great crew, and getting stuck into practical work, we'd love to hear from you.

The work that we do is varied, interesting and it cuts across all industries, for example: automotive, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, etc…

What You'll Be Doing

• Fitting and assembling campervan components and accessories
• Cabinetry and furniture installation
• Basic plumbing and electrical fit outs
• General maintenance and repairs on Campervans
• Workshop support and assembly-related tasks
• All task required from an empty Van to a Rental-ready Campervan

What You Need

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid driver's licence
• Proficient with a variety of hand power tools
• Proactive and reliable
• High attention to detail and take pride in your Work
• Great communication and time management skills
• Ability to manage your own workload and support the team
• Willingness to learn, grow and take feedback onboard
• Most important is a good attitude and strong work ethic
• You do not need any experience in ‘campervan building’ as we will train you in this area.
