Subtera Civil has secured its place as a trusted and reliable contractor for our Civil clients. Our goal is to establish ongoing relationships and diversify our range of services. We provide professional services for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Civil Contractors.

Due to a growing work portfolio, we are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to work alongside a motivated and experienced team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is desirable – alternatively, experience in the civil industry will be considered
• Experience on civil infrastructure projects
• Minimum 1-2 years of civil infrastructure project experience is preferred
• Knowledge of structures, earthworks & drainage
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans
• Excellent attitude towards safety
• A good level of computer literacy including MS Word, Excel etc.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
• Experience in civil estimating and/or pricing of project variations is desired, but not essential.
• Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates

Duties include but not limited to:

• Pricing variations in a timely and accurate fashion as requested by the Project Manager
• Ensuring all documentation from site is recorded and documented.
• Site Document Control
• Undertake site inspections and prepare reports on your findings.
• Managing the quality assurance of site works.
• Implementation of various processes and procedures.
• Providing innovative solutions to complicated challenges encountered on projects.
• Perform SWMS, Prestart and Toolbox Talk onsite each morning before works commence
• Coordinate with Supervisors and manage team onsite to ensure that all works are carried out safely and to the required standard
